About Me
My Story
I grew up in a close-knit evangelical home, surrounded by a large family and deeply ingrained in the Church.
Growing up in a conservative community, I learned to view the world through a black and white lens.

Following a year of Bible school and marrying in my early twenties, I pursued education in mental health therapy. It was something I knew I wanted to do from a young age, and in 2021, I finally made it happen.

Through my experiences in Bible school, travels, mentorship, and counselling education, my perspective shifted.
No longer seeing the world in black and white has been transformative.
Instead, I've come to view each story as unique and deserving of its own consideration.
This shift has demanded a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, recognizing that every individual's experiences are complex and don't fit into a box, which is not only okay, it's good.
With this perspective, I've learned to listen deeply, withhold judgment, and offer support tailored to each person's circumstances.
It's not about fitting people into predefined categories but rather about honoring their humanity and journey with empathy and understanding.
In my counselling sessions, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can freely explore difficult topics and seek healing from pain and trauma.

My approach is rooted in non-judgmental curiosity, aiming to understand each individual's unique experiences and perspectives.
I believe in the power of open dialogue and genuine connection, and I'm here to walk alongside you as we navigate life's challenges together.

Thank you for considering me as a partner in your growth and healing. Let's move forward together.
